Hi, I’m a Maths tutor in Lausanne and I work online with A-Level students who feel they’ve lost the thread in class. I finished my degree in applied maths recently, so mechanics and statistics are very fresh. In sessions we go slowly through homework, then build up to timed questions. I’m especially used to helping Swiss-based students sitting A-Level as an external exam, often alongside the Swiss system.

I now live near Basel and tutor A-Level English online for students across Switzerland. I work with both Language and Literature students, but most of my tutees are aiming for top grades in essays. We break down past paper questions, plan introductions together, and practise commentary on unseen texts. I especially enjoy helping with poetry comparisons and refining expression.

In Lausanne I tutor A-Level Biology to students from international schools and Swiss gymnasiums following the UK curriculum. I’ve taught for more than a decade and focus on getting the core ideas secure before we worry about wording. Cell biology, genetics, and immunology are areas I know especially well. I often help students refine required practical write-ups, longer exam questions, and revision plans.

Hi, I’m a Chemical Engineering graduate and I tutor A-Level Chemistry online to students. I like to keep lessons practical and organised: short recaps, a few clear examples, then exam-style questions. Many of my students come to me worried about moles or equilibrium, so we spend time on method and setting out working. I’m happy to look over practice papers between lessons.

I tutor A-Level Physics online and occasionally in person for students. I’m currently finishing a master’s in astrophysics, so I particularly enjoy the waves and space topics, but we cover the full specification. Lessons are very interactive: we sketch situations, talk through what the equations really mean, then tackle past paper questions together at your pace.
