I’m Elena, an IB Physics tutor based in Geneva. I’ve taught HL and SL for six years at an international school and online. We usually work on mechanics, fields and Option A, and I spend a lot of time on data-based questions and IA planning. I’m used to fitting sessions around CAS, EE deadlines and school trips so revision doesn’t end up crammed into the last few weeks. Outside of lessons I reply to quick questions by message.

I’ve taught AQA and OCR and still work part-time in a busy sixth form college. Most students come to me for help with mechanics, electricity and careful exam technique. We take longer questions apart with the mark scheme on screen, then rebuild answers so they earn full credit without wasting time. I also advise on sensible revision plans between mocks.

I help students who feel stuck around grade 4–6 and want to move higher without hating the subject. We spend time fixing basics in forces, electricity and energy, then switch fairly quickly to exam questions so they see how ideas are tested. I also review school tests, topic by topic, and use them to plan what we tackle in the next couple of lessons so progress feels steady.

I’m Josh, a GCSE Physics tutor near Birmingham. By day I teach science in a secondary school; evenings are for one-to-one. Most of my students want steady help with calculations, circuit questions and realistic revision planning. I use simple sketches and everyday examples, then we tackle higher-tier questions together until they feel confident explaining solutions back to me. Parents often say they like the straightforward, no-drama approach.

My background is in electrical engineering and I mainly support AP Physics C students. Lessons are problem-heavy: plenty of FRQs on mechanics and E&M, with close attention to units and reasoning steps. Many of my students are aiming for engineering or physics degrees, so I often link problems to the maths they’ll meet later at university or in foundation courses.
